Royal Liquor Merchants’ Charity Golf Classic

On the glorious greens of Valley Ridge Golf and Country Club, Calgary's finest (and wackiest?!) golfers met to support the Ability Society - Friends! A fabulous day full of swinging, driving and sinking, topped off by a banquet dinner, silent auction and award ceremony wrapped up in Royal Liquor Merchant and Ability Society - Friends style.  152 golfers, by registering to play, supporting fundraising activities on the course and bidding on silent auction items...not-to-mention the incredible support of Pengrowth Management, Heritage Pointe, the Flames Alumni and Stephen Aimes' "Golf with the Pros"...raised a whopping $32,500 plus.  This doubled the support of last year's tournament.  A heartfelt thank you to Royal Liquor Merchants, all the partners and sponsors and every golfer who braved the threat of rain and was blessed with sunshine...what a spectacular day!  The support each one of you, and all of you, gave will help countless Friends in our community!  Call Barb Mancini today to see how you can get involved in upcoming events.  403-262-9445 ext.113
